Stuart’s career began at Whip Mix, where he spent 19 years, playing a pivotal role in their Lean Journey and founding the Whip Mix Lean Lab Symposium. Passionate about digital dentistry, he established and ran the Whip Mix Milling Center (2007-2012), led the company to become an original Roland dealer and exclusive Asiga distributor, and built a robust resin portfolio of private-label and self-developed products. During his tenure, he created new business divisions, negotiated key industry partnerships, and was instrumental in bringing multiple award-winning products to market.

Following his tenure at Whip Mix, Stuart spearheaded the orthodontic expansion at Carbon 3D, establishing the L1 print package as the industry standard for high-volume thermoforming. Notably, he helped launch the first sterile packaged 3D-printed NP swab for COVID-19 testing, resulting in the sale of over 500,000 units. Recruited to a Bay Area 3D printing startup acquired by Stratasys for $100M, he further honed his expertise in scaling innovative technologies. As Co-Founder of Smile More LLC, Stuart led a successful orthodontic aligner startup, overseeing digital marketing, product development, and regulatory approvals. As COO of ODL Dental Lab, Stuart drove $2M in sales growth through cutting-edge integrations like the Hamer auto thermoforming machine, Oqcam, metal printing, and laser trimming of aligners.

A passionate advocate for the dental community, Stuart co-founded the NADL Foundation Race for the Future and remains a dedicated supporter of the National Association of Dental Laboratories. He holds an Integrative MBA with honors from the University of Louisville and a BBA from the University of Cincinnati. Stuart has served on numerous industry boards and advisory councils and is a proud Eagle Scout and U.S. Navy Reserve veteran. Married to Jamie for 10 years, they have raised four “Brady Bunch” kids together. Stuart’s leadership is defined by his commitment to innovation, operational rigor, and fostering growth in both business and community.
